Have you ever felt like an imperfect parent in a community of perfect parents? Does it sometimes seem like you HAVE to be a perfect parent because the stakes are so high?

Join Los Alamos County 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25 at SALA’s Parallel Cinema, for a free event to discuss children’s mental health. Door prizes and light refreshments will be provided. Free childcare for kids ages five and up will be offered at nearby STEAM Lab beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending when the presentation concludes. Register at www.losalamosjjab.com/events.

Come take a breather during this crazy time of year and connect with other parents and community members while earning some practical skills to support your child(ren)’s mental health. A panel featuring local mental health and parent education professionals will be presented, followed by time for questions and discussions.

This collaborative program is hosted by the LAPS Prevention Program, Los Alamos JJAB, Los Alamos County Municipal Court, and the Los Alamos Public School Foundation.
