Small businesses are the backbone of the economy. Whether they are restaurants, machine shops, cybersecurity businesses, tailors, day care providers, chimney sweeps, or galleries. These businesses matter. They play a vital role in providing the essential services and goods that enhance our quality of life. We couldn’t be more proud of the owner-employers who harnessed the courage to start a business, grow a business, and sustain a business. Their entrepreneurial vision and leadership support families, communities and the region.
The RDC Micro-Grant Fund is one of the ways we support small businesses in our region by providing a small infusion of capital and expertise. This helps businesses diversify, sustain, or grow revenue, leverage other investments, and put systems in place that lead to growth and create job opportunities.
We are extremely grateful to Triad National Security, LLC, our major investor who provides the RDC with access to capital, enabling us to support small businesses and provide assistance with out-of-the-box solutions, training, and partner resources. These businesses are welcomed into the RDC family and gain the backing and benefits of our robust network.
Forty-eight businesses received a 2025 RDC Micro-Grant Fund Award. A total of $133,177.72 was generously funded by Triad National Security, LLC. We are grateful to all of those businesses that applied and look forward to supporting your business growth.

- 52 Sounds — Music and engineering company specializing in rapid prototyping, audio engineering and 3D design.
- Los Alamos Chimney & Dryer Vent Cleaning — Chimney sweeps, inspections and dryer vent cleaning services.
- Anthonyography — Videographer who produces content for realtors and entrepreneurs.
- Beehaus Design and Ecomarketing — Design and marketing studio.
- Boomerang Consignment and Gaia Gifts — Upscale consignment shop combined with a unique gift and souvenir shop.
- Glisten — Day Spa.
- Samizdat Bookstore and Teahouse — General bookstore providing unique programming and events with local non-profits.
- LANET — Internet service provider offering high-speed fiber and Airfiber connections in Los Alamos, White Rock, and Sierra Los Pinos.
- Los Alamos Lock and Key — Professional Locksmith Services.
- New Clear Solutions — Landscaping Services.
