COUNTY News:
Construction activities begin Monday, April 1 on the Tsikumu Village Improvements Project in Los Alamos. Albuquerque Asphalt Inc. will conduct the work.
Proposed improvements include:
- mill existing asphalt pavement surface;
- overlay with new asphalt; and
- concrete valley gutters.
Proposed improvements also include limited concrete replacement (approximately 5 percent) of sidewalks, valley gutters, curb and gutter, fillets, drive pads and ADA curb ramps at designated locations on the following streets:
- Sioux;
- Cheyenne;
- Seminole;
- Iroquois;
- Yuma; and
- Ute.
Residents are asked to move all vehicles from their street during work activities and to use caution in the work zone.
Work hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Access to residents as well as services such as mail delivery, emergency services, trash and recycling collection will be maintained.
