WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) released the following statement after Attorney General Jeff Session testified in open session before the Senate Intelligence Committee earlier today:

“I would have to give today’s testimony by Attorney General Jeff Sessions a ‘D.’ In fact, several of them. All we saw today from the Attorney General was Dodging, Denials and Dismissals.

“It is a sad day when our country’s chief law enforcement official refuses to answer basic questions, wraps himself in obscure, unwritten DOJ policies he could note cite and would not produce, and displays a disregard for his oath to disclose ‘the truth, the whole truth’ out of fear of embarrassing the President.”
