ALBUQUERQUE — All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will be available when business hours resume on Monday, July 7, at 8:00am. The business hours of the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions would like to remind all eligible Unemployment Insurance claimants that Friday, July 4, 2025, is a federal holiday. Most banking institutions and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed in observance of Independence Day. This may result in a delay of banking transactions for Unemployment Insurance benefits.
