United Church News:

While 30 United Church youth and adults will be spending Spring Break/Holy Week in Mexico building two houses for families in need, children are invited to join the children’s activities at the United Church.

Palm Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. includes them in a Children’s Moment. Following coffee and lemonade, Church School for all ages happens in the adjacent Christian Education Building.  Nursery is provided for wee ones during worship and Church School.

Sunday mornings at 11 a.m., the children gather for Bible Quest to explore Bible stories through song, games, cooking, art, drama, and other stations in a rotation model of learning.

Join United Church Easter morning, April 9, for the celebration of new life in Christ’s Resurrection.  A community sunrise service at Ashley Pond is followed by Festive Easter worship at the historic United Church Sanctuary at 9:30, burritos on the church plaza, and an Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny (one of the youth in a costume) will assist.

“The congregation would love to see you and your children there to rejoice with us in Christ’s good news of liberation and love for us all.”
