Village Arts News:
Village Arts is happy to host a new exhibition just in time for the start of the new school year! Artists were asked to take on the traditional “start of the school year” theme and be inspired by their summer adventures.
The exhibit features more than 30 creations that explore a summer of colorful days, velvety nights, beaches, gardens, dreams, challenges and more!
Showing the work of artists who are truly getting ready for their first days of school all the way to professional artists like Gloria Sharp and Michael Andryc blends together a wonderful community of voices.
“The variety in this show is unique, and really reads true with all the exceptional moments we hear about coming through our doors!” Village Arts owner Ken Nebel said.
Village Arts staff encourages the community to visit and support artists by voting on their favorite work, or perhaps taking a piece of summer sunshine home with them! What I Did on my Summer Vacation will be on display through Sept. 24, 2022, so stop on in, think back through summer, or forge ahead and grab some #2 pencils to take you through the Fall!
Village Arts’ next exhibit is “Extraordinarily Plein”, and Village Arts hopes to see the whole community get outside and be inspired to create for the show! Exhibit schedules are posted on social media and interested individuals can pick up a Call For Artists at the shop or join the Village Arts exhibit E-mail list.
Village Arts is at 216 DP Road, and aims to be a one stop shop for all things visual arts from learning opportunities and supplies to framing and exhibitions.
Village Arts is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, and also by appointment. Visit www.villageartsframing.com.
