COUNTY News:

Water operations crews from the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) are in White Rock on Bryce Avenue tackling a water break.

The break is between Louise Avenue and Aragon Avenue. The road is closed through the work zone and drivers may detour using Louise Avenue and Aragon Avenue.

The damage has been isolated to a slow leak so while water pressure dropped in the area previously, it should be back to, or close to, normal for most properties. The houses in direct proximity to the leak will lose water service during the repair.

DPU’s supervisors of the Gas, Water and Sewer Division expect the repair to be completed by 10 p.m. today.
