The Northern Río Grande National Heritage Area (NRGNHA) is offering a creative workshop 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., today Oct. 5, at Los Luceros Historic Site to celebrate All Saints’ Day.
Presented by NRGNHA, and held at Los Luceros Historic Site, this special class focuses on the creation of miniature life altars, a beautiful tradition that honors and remembers ancestors.
Participants will delve into the significance of the three-day triduum, encompassing Halloween, All Saints’ Day, and All Souls’ Day. Using clay, participants will craft a personalized miniature altar to honor their ancestors.
