YMCA News:

The Family YMCA and Los Alamos Heart Council co-sponsored a Heart Smart Poster Contest for children in grades K-6.

Posters were judged on originality and the healthy message depicted. The winning posters were displayed at Saturday’s Los Alamos Health Fair. 

The following children won prizes for their posters:

K-3^rd Grade

• 1^st Place-Zoe Bent
• 2^nd Place-Aspen Jaramillo
• 3^rd Place- Zoya Kahn     
• 4^th Place- Hannah Hsu

4^th-6^th Grade

• 1^st place-Grace Xie
• 2^nd place-Aidan Cooley
• 3^rd place-Annika Fox
• 4^th place-Adam Rahn
