Registration opens today for YMCA Little Youth Basketball for grades K-1st for the YMCA’s developmental co-ed Little Youth Basketball program. Practices and games are two times per week in Los Alamos or White Rock March 6 through April 19. 

Players, coaches and team parents are needed.

This program provides an introduction to basketball for girls and boys. Mini-sized balls will be used on 8’ baskets to allow players to learn proper shooting technique. 

Focus will be on developing coordination and learning the basic rules of the game. Volunteer coaches and team parents needed. The teams are kept small so each player gets plenty of skills practice and play time. 

Price includes team jersey for players to keep.

Cost: $63 /$42 for Y Members
