YMCA: Red And Black And Wild West Ball Is Postponed

By DIANA MARTINEZ
The FAMILY YMCA

We’re going to  “hold our horses” in light of our Governor’s public health emergency declaration Wednesday and her stated guidance around public gatherings.

We made the difficult decision to postpone our annual Red and Black and Wild West Ball scheduled for this Saturday, March 14 at Buffalo Thunder Resort. While the decision comes with much disappointment, people’s health and safety are our top priority.

We are so grateful for all your excitement and support around this event, which is why we hope to just push it down the road a bit. We hope you will bear with us as we look at alternative dates in September and October.

Your purchased tickets will be fully transferable to the rescheduled event, and you will be the first to know when we secure that date!

Because we don’t have emails for all attendees, please forward this email along to anyone that you invited to the event if you were sponsoring a table.

If you had made reservations to stay at Buffalo Thunder/Hilton that night, please know that you will be able to cancel that reservation without out any penalties or fees, call 505.455.5555. It is best and easiest if you can do that at least 48 hrs. ahead of your scheduled arrival, however Hilton has said they will allow a 24-hour notice due to these circumstances. In case you are having any issues with this process, our event coordinator Peter Lovato has made himself available to assist you with this. You can call his office phone at 505.819.2028. They have been very gracious with us in this process and will make sure you are taken care of.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. In the meantime, I hope you don’t have to use your bandana until we see you at the rescheduled Ball.

Thank you for your support!
