Ashley Sanderson of Emerge New Mexico

The local group Voices of Los Alamos invites everyone to its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Unitarian Church, 1738 N. Sage St., to listen to a presentation by Executive Director Ashley Sanderson of Emerge New Mexico.
Emerge New Mexico is a Santa Fe-based organization that trains Democratic women to run for office. Sanderson will give a brief overview of the program and share tips about the process of getting elected.
According to its website (https:////www.emergenm.org/), “Emerge breaks down barriers and levels the playing field by demystifying the process of running for office and connecting women to the knowledge and resources needed to win. With a win rate of over 70 percent, our track record speaks for itself.”
