Los Alamos Little Theatre will hold auditions for the play, “Communicating Doors,” by Alan Ayckbourn, which will be performed in September. Auditions are 3-5 p.m. June 18 and 5-7 p.m. June 19 at the Performing Arts Center. Please have a prepared one minute monologue – you can pick your own! Scripts will be available at the Mesa and White Rock libraries.“Communicating Doors” is a murder mystery with a time travel twist. It has parts for three males and three females and takes place in a suite at the Regal Hotel, London in May 1977, October 1997, and July 2017.
Characters:
- REECE – a businessman aged 30 and 70
- JESSICA – his first wife aged 25 and 45
- RUELLA – his second wife aged 45
- JULIAN – his business associate aged 45 and 65
- PHOEBE (POOPAY) – a prostitute aged 33
- HAROLD – a house detective aged 35 and 55
Holly Robinson will direct this production; Jeanne Adkins is the producer.
