Notice is hereby given that following a public hearing held on April 10, 2024, a majority vote of the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the below-mentioned cases:
1. VAR-2024-0002. A variance from the Residential-Mixed (RM-1) zone district standards to construct a 23’X 25’ (575 Sq. Ft.) attached carport. Approval allows the carport to project a maximum of 95% into the required 20’ front setback, and 33% into the required 5’ interior side setback.
2. SIT-2022-0059. Anne Kain, applicant, on behalf of Century Bank, is requesting Site Plan approval for the construction of a 4-story bank branch with office and commercial space at 2201 Trinity Drive, Los Alamos, NM. The property, LAI 01, is within the Eastern Area 3 Subdivision, and within the Downtown Los Alamos (DTLA) zone district.
Any action by the Planning and Zoning Commission of an application may be appealed by the owner of the property listed on the application, persons required to be mailed notice or the application giving rise to the final action being appealed, any County official acting in their official capacity whose services, properties, facilities, interest, or operations may be adversely affected by the application; or any person who has a recognized legal interest under New Mexico law, within 15 calendar days, including weekend days and excluding County-recognized holidays, after signature date of the final written decision pursuant to Section 16-72(g)(5)a of the Development Code.
