LAHS Girls Golf News:
The Girls Topper Golf Team earned second place in the Seery Invitational at the New Mexico Invitational April 2 at New Mexico Tech Golf Course.
The girls’ golf team has a team total of 79.53.
“The tournament was certainly eventful,” Head Coach Stefan Sutton said. “The first day was unfortunately canceled due to snow and rain, but we were later blessed with the best weather any golfer could hope for. After a five-month winter hiatus, this was the girls’ first tournament, and they put in a lot of hard work to prepare for it. We couldn’t be happier with their performance and the results.”
Individual Results (out of 19 Golfers):
- Ella Trujillo won 3rd with score of 96
- Sophia Saunders won 5th with score of 101
- Jacque Nguyen carded a score of 115
- Madelyn Sutton carded a score of 124
