Hey, Los Alamosans! Come get your funny bone tickled with a night of AtomiComedy Saturday, Feb. 17, at Muy Salsas, 1315 Trinity Drive.

Tickets are $10, available at the door, for this evening with eight comedians. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m.. Or come early and have dinner before the show.

SANTA FE —Santa Fe Pro Musica continues their beloved tradition of “Baroque Holy Week” concerts on historical instruments beginning at 7:30 p.m., March 23.

In these inspiring and unique concerts, featuring Santa Fe favorite soprano Clara Rottsolk and violinist Stephen Redfield, the Pro Musica Baroque Ensemble presents music by women composers from the French court of the Sun King, Louis XIV (1638–1715).

LAMS Student Yuiko Yamaguchi Wins Rising Star Award In Jackie McGehee Young Artists’ Competition

Los Alamos Middle School seventh grade Yuiko Yamaguchi, 12, earned the Rising Star Award at the Guild of New Mexico’s Jackie McGehee Young Artists’ Competition in Strings Feb. 10 at the Robertson and Sons Violin Shop Recital Hall in Albuquerque.

Yamaguchi played the third movement of the Bach Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor, BWV 1041, accompanied by Los Alamos pianist Ms. Yelena Mealy.

Yamaguchi started playing the violin when she was 8 with Ms. Michelle Rosette. She is currently studying with Lee Harvey at Santa Fe School for Strings.
