Pueblo of Pojoaque — Poeh Cultural Center announces that it has been selected by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to receive an award of $30,000 to fund traditional arts classes for Indigenous people at the Poeh.

The grant, which was awarded under the NEA Folk and Traditional Arts Projects, is one of 958 Arts projects, totaling $27.1 million, the NEA will support for the first round of fiscal year 2024 projects.

SANTA FE — New Mexico Magazine recently announced the winners of its 23rd Annual Photos of the Year Contest, with this year’s selection showcasing New Mexico’s diverse peoples and beautiful places.  

More than 400 photographers submitted more than 1,800 images from which judges selected 20 winning photographs and eight honorable mentions. Categories included grand prize, people’s choice, landscapes, nightscapes, people, animals, New Mexico experience, and phone photography.
