The Taos Chamber Music Group (TCMG) starts off 2024 with a multimedia concert, “Winter Reverie” at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos.

Santa Fe Symphony has announced the 2024 Annual Concerto Competition. All young orchestral and choral musicians between 14 and 22 years of age are encouraged to apply.

This competition is open to instrumentalists in high school and college who play a symphonic instrument and can submit a YouTube link to a videoed performance of themselves playing a 5 to 7 minute classical concerto work (Sorry, no piano submissions at this time).

The New Mexico Consortium is hosting Cosmic Frontiers: Stephen Hawking & The Universe, a two-day event April 27-28, 2024, centered around scientist Stephen Hawking.
