PAC 8 News:
PAC 8 Community Media Center will be holding its media classes over fall break Oct. 9-13.
“The classes have been very popular over summer and now that we have this new fall break, I hope students will be interested in taking the classes then,” PAC 8 Executive Director Jean Gindreau said.
Two sessions will be held:
Session 1
- Oct. 9–13, 9 a.m. to noon

SANTA FE — Time for the harvest! Every year in late September, Los Luceros Historic Site (LLHS) invites the public to Fall Harvest Festival, a day of apple picking, local food and performances, community building, festivities, and education. The festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 24.
Visitors might think of these activities as nostalgic, but for LLHS and communities throughout the surrounding region, the harvest remains one of the most important times of year.

Albuquerque Museum Receives Prestigious Federal Grant

Albuquerque Museum News:
ALBUQUERQUE — The Albuquerque Museum Foundation on behalf of the Albuquerque Museum has received a $250,000 grant from the Institute of Museum & Library Services (IMLS), an independent agency of the federal government.
This three-year grant will support the Museum’s ongoing effort to digitize its collection of artworks and history objects.
The IMLS granted $24,293,190 to 122 projects across the country this year through its Museums for America Program. Only 20 percent of the recipients received the highest amount ($250,000); and only four institutions Read More
