IAIA Honors Patsy Phillips’ Legacy With Endowed Scholarship In Museum Studies

The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) today announced an initiative to establish the Patsy Phillips Endowed Scholarship in Museum Studies, a named scholarship honoring Patsy Phillips (Cherokee Nation), Director of the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA), as she prepares to retire at the end of June after 18 years at MoCNA and 30 years advancing contemporary Indigenous arts.

The Santa Fe Desert Chorale (the Desert Chorale) announces its 2026 season, bringing together 24 of the nation’s top ensemble singers for 27 choral concerts and community events in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

Daily Postcard: Exciting news! For the third year in a row, Hooded Warblers have been confirmed nesting on the Santa Fe National Forest in Los Alamos County. This image shows the male Hooded Warbler. This year’s site is again along the Upper Water Canyon Trail, only 250 feet away from last year’s nest. In 2024 they nested about 1.3 miles away in Los Alamos Canyon.
