The Santa Fe Opera Guilds (SFOG) Program of Maestro Joe Illick’s Musical Preview of the Santa Fe Opera’s 2022 Season has been changed from April 27 to 3 p.m. June 14, on Zoom.
For many years, Illick has entertained SFOG members by playing excerpts from the Santa Fe Opera’s upcoming seasons. His vast experience as a conductor and composer makes him uniquely qualified to provide valuable insight into each of the operas.
In his June 14 Musical Preview, Illick will perform and preview the five scores from the Santa Fe Opera Season 2022:

Call For Art Issued For Los Alamos County Airport

The Los Alamos County Art in Public Places Board is putting out a Call for Art, focusing on fiber art ideas for the Los Alamos County Airport.

SANTA FE — New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, received federal American Rescue Plan funding via the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to provide additional support for arts organizations and to fuel the nation’s recovery from the devastating economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
