Council Quorum Notice: Art Dedication Ceremony ‘Lizard’

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County has issued a quorum notice stating that members of the Council may attend the Art Dedication Ceremony ‘Lizard’ 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Los Alamos Nature Center.

This event is open to the public.

A quorum may be present, however no action will be taken.

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Film Office (NMFO) Thursday announced the feature film Little Brother is in production in New Mexico.

The film is produced by 19 Twelve Films, Made by Limbo, and Circa 1888. Filming will take place through September 2021 in Albuquerque, Moriarty, Cedar Crest and Mesita.

New Mexico Museum Of Art Awarded $250,000 Grant

The New Mexico Museum of Art (NMMOA) announced that it has been awarded a $250,000 Museums for America Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

The funds from this grant will go toward the conservation, digitization, and relocation of 6,500 photographs and 300 contemporary paintings and sculptures.
