Bethlehem Church Free Friday Night Movies Begin Tonight!

Free movies on alternate Friday nights are being offered by Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2390 North Road in Los Alamos (near Mountain Elementary School).

The first movie is tonight, July 2. The movie is called “Soul” (rated PG) and is an animated film from the Pixar Studio, depicting a jazz musician’s search for his true passion here on earth.

The past two years have been a roller coaster ride for the Los Alamos County Summer Concert series. The pandemic in 2020 pushed the live concerts to a virtual stage, which continued for the first part of this year’s series. NCRTD: Blue Bus Fourth Of July Holiday Schedule

NCRTD News:

The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) RTD “Blue Bus” 255 Mountain Trail and 305 Taos Express will operate on its normal schedule, Sunday, July 4.

RTD “Blue Buses” will not operate Monday, July 5, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday with the exception of the 255 Mountain Trail into the Santa Fe National Forest which will operate.

Buses are now operating at 50 percent capacity and masks are required for all individuals per federal mandate.

International Shakespeare Center Unveils 2021 Season

ISC News:

The ISC Company presents two of Shakespeare’s most potent political thrillers this summer: Coriolanus and Julius Caesar.

The plays will be performed in rep with a tight ensemble of 11 actors, playing Aug. 26 through Sept. 12 (7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays; 2 p.m., Sundays) at Santa Fe Prep’s Upper School Quad, with outdoor amphitheater seating.
