Grammy nominated, singer/songwriter Kim Richey will make a stop June 27 at Fuller Lodge in support of her critically acclaimed release Edgeland. (2018).  

The Nashville-based, progressive country artist has recorded eight albums of her own and written for many of the industry’s biggest names.

SANTA FE The New Mexico State Film Office (NMFO) today announced that the USA Network television series, “Briarpatch” produced by UCP (Universal Content Productions) and Paramount Television will begin principal photography mid-June through the end of September in Albuquerque.  
 
Starring Rosario Dawson, who will also serve as a producer, the production will employ approximately 100 New Mexico crew members and 250-350 New Mexico background talent per episode.

‘UNASHAMED’ SALTeens 2019 Tour 7 P.M. Tuesday

SALTeens, which stands for “Singing and Living Truth,” will present the Gospel in music and drama at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at the Christian Church at 92 East Road.

SALTeens is a summer high school program of Dallas Christian College.

Students are selected by audition for voice, instrumentation and tech support. It is a lively, compelling performance. The Christian Church’s own Lauren Partin, who was a SALTeen for four years, is now on staff with SALTeens helping prepare this year’s performers. Read More

Daily Postcard: This mule deer doe was spotted swimming across the Animas River in May in Farmington by a couple from England visiting friends in Los Alamos. They made a short trip to Farmington to see the sights and spotted the doe in the river. The current was strong, but the doe made it across just fine and was only swept downstream a short distance. Michelle Lujan Grisham, Mayor Tim Keller and company executives announced Friday that NBCUniversal is entering into a 10-year venture with Garcia Realty and Development to redevelop an empty free-span warehouse in Albuquerque into a state-of-the-art television and film studio with two sound stages, offices and a mill.
