New Lensic Community Council Gathers Perspectives, Ideas From Local Leaders

SANTA FE — The Lensic has established a new Community Council to guide the nonprofit performing arts center as it develops new and better ways to serve Santa Feans.
 
Council participants—community leaders with varied perspectives as well as Lensic staff and supporters—will share ideas, provide feedback, and discuss ways The Lensic can serve as a resource for as many Santa Feans and Northern New Mexicans as possible. It will meet four times a year and submit its recommendations to Lensic leadership.

Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry Donates $1,800 To Art Council Kite Festival

Christine Monteith with Los Alamos Arts Council and Dr. Bill Nichols, owner of Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry, hold up a $1,800 check Tuesday at Nichol’s office, 751 Trinity Dr. The money will be used to purchase t-shirts for the arts council’s Kite Festival.
