Los Alamos MainStreet News:
The annual WinterFest Holiday Lights Parade will be gliding down MainStreet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. It’s always a fun, colorful, family-friendly event, made even more special with this year’s “Candyland” theme.
As the date approaches, however, the Los Alamos MainStreet staff would like to remind parents and families to exercise caution with little ones when attending the parade. Given the theme this year, children may be enthusiastic to get candy from some

Community Invited To Holiday Tree Lighting Dec. 8
COUNTY News:
The public is invited to join the Los Alamos County Council as they light up the holiday tree in the Municipal Building lobby at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.
The event is part of the Main Street Association’s Winterfest and there will be free refreshments in the lobby along with a free “selfie” photo booth with a winter scenic backdrop and fun photo props provided inside Council Chambers.
Coro de Camara will be providing holiday tunes when doors to the lobby open at 5 p.m. and the lobby will remain open until 6 p.m. when the light parade begins on Central Avenue. Read More
