Los Alamos Arts Council is once again hosting its Annual Fuller Lodge Open House 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Fuller Lodge.
 
Throughout the event several performers will take to the stage including a local Ukulele group, the Chamisa “Sign-Sations,” Shashi Charles, guitar player Bill, cellist Joy Charles and Juanita Madland and her students.

Sangre De Christo Chorale Presents ‘Stille Nacht’

The Sangre de Cristo Chorale presents “Stille Nacht” to celebrate the mystery, joy and love of the holiday season.
 
The chorale will host two concerts. The first at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 in the First Presbyterian Church on 208 Grant Ave. in Santa Fe. The second at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at the United Church of Los Alamos.
 
The concerts will feature the Chorale’s premiere of a work written for the group by Bradley Ellingboe, “Mary’s Song.” The concerts also include Poulenc’s haunting and inspiring set of four Christmas songs, many other familiar (and unfamiliar)

Community Invited To Holiday Tree Lighting Dec. 8

COUNTY News:

The public is invited to join the Los Alamos County Council as they light up the holiday tree in the Municipal Building lobby at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.

The event is part of the Main Street Association’s Winterfest and there will be free refreshments in the lobby along with a free “selfie” photo booth with a winter scenic backdrop and fun photo props provided inside Council Chambers.
