Closing reception for “Many Hats Women Wear”, by Susan E. Roden is 5:30-8 p.m., Friday, June 1 at Patrician Design, 216 Gold Ave., SW in downtown ALbuquerque.

View the ladies with attitude, style and grace captured by Roden’s pastels at the closing reception. The Artist will be in attendance.

The Los Alamos Choral Society’s 2018 Memorial Day concert—”Freedom!”—is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, May 27 at the United Church of Los Alamos.

The Los Alamos Creative District is kicking off the Tuesdays at the Pond Entertainment Series with a Night of Jazz!

The Los Alamos Middle School Jazz 1 Band will take the stage at 7 p.m. followed at 8 p.m. by the Los Alamos Jazz Project Big Band.

The Jazz 1 Band is made up of 27 middle school students, who play under the direction of Ryan Finn, and have received superior ratings at the 2018 Albuquerque and Santa Cruz Jazz Festivals.
