Jennifer Leon and Felix Voltsinger are having their first show together this January at the Mesa Public Library Gallery. The new exhibit begins Monday, Dec. 28 and continues through Jan. 28, 2016. There will be an opening reception 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7.

Leon and Voitsinger have shared countless hours in painting and drawing, in studio and out of doors, both of them committed to the intense observation of the scenes before them.  Both artists work exclusively from observation, imagination, and memory. Read More

Airman First Class Daniel Nebel, a 2004 graduate of Los Alamos High School, is serving as a bandsman with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West stationed at Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
 
He will present a free classical concert of solo horn and piano music at noon Thursday, Dec. 31 at Fuller Lodge. The public is invited to come to the free event and, if desired, bring a sack lunch.

For true fans of the series, this chapter does not disappoint. SANTA FE  The Dance Department of New Mexico School for the Arts will offer its annual presentation of mixed repertoire, Winter Dances 2016, at the James A. Little Theater, 1060 Cerrillos Road, New Mexico School for the Deaf, in Santa Fe.
 
Four performances will take place: At 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22; at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 23; and 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 24.
