The Art in Public Places Board (APPB) will hold a Special Meeting April 15, 2025, in the Municipal Building Council Chambers (1000 Central Ave., Los Alamos) at 5:30 p.m. to reconsider the purchase of the oil painting The Boys of Pajarito Plateau by artist Jeff Segler. A Zoom option will be available for those unable to attend in person.

A sundog is a concentrated patch of sunlight that is occasionally seen to the right or left of the sun or even on both sides simultaneously. Daily Postcard: This tropical visitor, a Tufted Flycatcher was spotted by Dana Parsons Thursday night at Young Park in Las Cruces and was still being seen four days later. This is the first time this species has ever been recorded in New Mexico, and is rarely seen north of the border with Mexico.
