The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Ringed Renegade, who robbed the Guadalupe Credit Union at approximately 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024  at 1101 Don Diego Ave. in Santa Fe.

The suspect entered the Credit Union and brandished a black handgun and demanded money from the teller. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect left the Credit Union on foot.

NM Supreme Court Issues Ruling On Newspaper’s Lawsuit And Legal Doctrine Creating Defense Against Civil Liability

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Supreme Court today restored a newspaper’s legal claims against New Mexico’s largest electric utility for suing to stop the news organization from publishing documents released by a regulatory agency.

In a unanimous opinion, the Court ruled that a district court wrongly dismissed counterclaims brought by The Santa Fe New Mexican against the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) for what the newspaper contended was a groundless legal effort infringing on freedom of the press. New Mexico Association of REALTORS® (NMAR) announces that in July 2024, there was an 9.46% increase in home sales in New Mexico compared to the previous month. Down 4.12% from June 2023 sales, these numbers indicate a 10.44% increase in the median sold price on a yearover-year basis. Compared to June 2024, the July median sold price in New Mexico increased by 2.59%. Active listings have increased 8.81% compared to this time last year.
