Tourism To Bandelier National Monument In 2023 Contributes $18,607,000 To Local Economy

BANDELIER News:

A new National Park Service report shows that 199,501 visitors to Bandelier National Monument in 2023 spent $14,257,000 in communities near the park. That spending supported 188 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $18,607,000.

“I’m so proud that our parks and the stories we tell make a lasting impact on more than 300 million visitors a year,” National Park Service Director Chuck Sams said. “And I’m just as proud to see those visitors making positive impacts of their own, by supporting local economies and jobs in every state in the country.” Read More

Los Alamos Chamber To Host Job Fair At UNM-LA Oct. 3 

CHAMBER News:

UNM-Los Alamos and the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Fall Job Fair 11 a.m. to3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at UNM-Los Alamos at 4000 University Drive. 

Registration for businesses seeking new employees is open now and will close Sept. 27. Businesses do not need to be Chamber Members to register. Only 50 spaces are available and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
