ALBUQUERQUE — All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ (NMDWS) offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed Monday, Oct. 9, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.
The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. New Mexico State Police Investigate Gunshot Damage To CYFD Building Wednesday In Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico State Police (NMSP) were called to the Children Youth & Families Department (CYFD) building at around 9 a.m. Oct. 4, at 4501 Indian School Road NE for reported damage to the building.
Officers learned that when employees arrived that morning, they found one of the windows broken. Officers located a defect in the stucco ledge near the window and determined a bullet had struck the ledge and ricocheted into the window damaging the window and a set of blinds in the window.
