Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP) released has announced on Volunteer.gov to add to its volunteer ranks supporting visitor services operations. Duties include handling bookstore sales in the Valle Grande Bookstore operated by Los Amigos de Valles Caldera.
Volunteers are part of the National Park Service Volunteers in Parks (VIPS) program and require a background/reference check.

Streets Closed During Trick-Or-Treat On MainStreet Friday

Los Alamos MainStreet would like to alert the community to a road closure 4-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 as part of the annual Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet event.
Due to the nature of the event, a road closure will be in place 3-6:30 p.m. on Central Avenue between 15th and 20th streets, including any side street access.
