The Family YMCA is taking registrations now through Nov. 18, for up to 40 artists and expert crafts people who want to sell their products during Small Business Saturday, Nov. 26, in the Y’s gym.
Early registration, now, is encouraged so the Y may begin promoting vendors’ products. Please go to the Y to register, 1450 Iris Street, M-F, 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Santa Fe Starbucks Workers Go On Strike

SANTA FE — Effective this morning (Nov. 3), Starbucks workers at the St. Michaels Drive location in Santa Fe, are on strike due to unfair labor practices and the Company’s interference with Union activity.
Workers will remain on strike until 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, and they invite members of the community to join them in solidarity for workers’ rights.

State Land Office Earns Over $300 Million In October

SANTA FE — New Mexico Commissioner of Public Lands Stephanie Garcia Richard announced today that the State Land Office processed $300,473,548 in oil and gas royalties in October, setting a new one-month record for the agency.
