ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) is advising employers and workers that the minimum wage is increasing in New Mexico effective Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022.
This increase is in accordance with an amendment to the New Mexico Minimum Wage Act signed into law on April 1, 2019 by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.

Los Alamos County Council Vacates P&Z Approval Of Special Use Permit For Daycare Center In La Senda

Los Alamos County Council unanimously vacated Planning and Zoning Commission’s approval of a special use permit to operate Worms and Wildflowers daycare in a residence at 113B La Senda in White Rock and directed that the issue return to Planning and Zoning for a new hearing.
The decision was made Dec. 16 during a special council meeting. Councilor Sean Williams was absent from the meeting.

ALBUQUERQUE — All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ (NMDWS) offices, including the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Operations Center, will be closed Friday, Dec. 24 in observance of Christmas; and Friday, Dec. 31, in observance of the New Year holiday.
