FBI, Albuquerque Police Investigate Two Bank Robberies

FBI News:

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are investigating two bank robberies that occurred within three hours of each other Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021.

The first robbery occurred at approximately 1:01 p.m. at Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union, 3707 Juan Tabo Boulevard NE.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build. He wore a black beanie, black neck gaiter, white shirt, dark green hooded jacket, black gloves, ripped blue jeans and black shoes.

ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico State Police (NMSP) Special Investigations Unit (SIU) conducted a Minor Compliance Operation Friday, Dec. 3 in Albuquerque.

During the operation, SIU agents conducted a compliance check on a liquor establishment, the La Cantina Loca at 6910 Montgomery Boulevard NE Suite E, in Albuquerque, after receiving complaints of minors being allowed into the bar.
