On the job Monday in Los Alamos at the Lobby Shop inside Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC) is Auxiliary President Patricia Ensberg who has volunteered at the shop for eight years. Many unique and fun gifts can be found at the Lobby Shop including inflated ornaments featured on the TV show Shark Tank. New Mexico Office Of Superintendent Of Insurance Approves 5.5 Percent Decrease In Workers’ Compensation Costs

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI) has approved a 5.5 percent decrease in loss costs for Workers’ Compensation for policies renewing or issued on or after Jan. 1, 2022.

Due in large part to the continuing decrease in claim frequency, which reflects the commitment to safety on the part of New Mexico employers, loss costs are decreasing for the seventh year in a row.
