New Mexico Cannabis Control Division Holds Public Hearing On Revised Production Rules

NMRLD News:

SANTA FE — The Cannabis Control Division of the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (NMRLD) at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6 will hold a public hearing to gather input on the revised draft cannabis producer rules posted by the division after a first public hearing in June.

The hearing will be held at the State Capitol, Room 307, and can be joined virtually at this link.

The Cannabis Regulation Act, passed by the Legislature earlier this year, requires that regulations for producers be in place by Sept. 1 so that the CCD can begin issuing producer licenses on that date.

The Los Alamos County Council held a business town hall Aug. 3 that was focused on how planning and  zoning revisions affect economic development in the County. 

There was discussion on how property zoning changes such as the downtown pedestrian retail overlay affects local businesses, with input and presentations from the perspective of both property owners and small business owners.
