Small Business Recovery Act Heads To Governor’s Desk

SANTA FE — Delivering on its promise to rapidly provide assistance to New Mexico’s hard-hit businesses, the House of Representatives Thursday sent its second major small business relief bill to the Governor’s desk.
Passed by the House 51-17, Senate Bill 3 provides more than $460 million in low-interest loans to struggling small and medium-sized businesses in the state.
An emergency clause makes this relief available quickly after the Governor’s signature.

Los Alamos County Council is seeking feedback regarding the possible purchase of the CB Fox and Reel Deal buildings.
A survey has been posted on the Open Forum page and will be open until 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 10.
The Council will discuss this topic and survey results at its 6 p.m., March 16 Council meeting on Zoom.
