Pig + Fig marked its 5th year in business Tuesday, Jan 19 in White Rock.
Chef Laura Crucet and her father, Fernando Crucet took over the location of the former Rosebud Café on Rover Boulevard in 2015. Two years later, the tiny restaurant was bursting at the seams.

The Marriott Town Place Suites and Conference Center moves forward after its site plan and height waiver were unanimously approved during the Jan. 13 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED), New Mexico Attorney General’s Office and the New Mexico Office of Natural Resources Trustee have announced an $11 million settlement associated with the 2015 Gold King Mine blowout that released tons of toxic metals and acidic waste into the Animas and San Juan Rivers.
