Keep It Co-op Food Drive Through Dec. 19

This week, local cooperative businesses, Little Forest Playschool, Los Alamos Co+op Market, Zia Credit Union, Del Norte Credit Union, Los Alamos Public Schools Credit Union and the Los Alamos Beer Co-op started a non-perishable food drive in order to help those in need.
The “Keep It Co-op” food drive runs through Dec.19. Donations are accepted at Little Forest Playschool, the Co+op and Zia Credit Union and will be distributed by Los Alamos food bank L.A. Cares and St. Martin de Porres Food Kitchen in Espanola.

Alert: Blue Cross Blue Shield Computer Glitch Causes Multiple Withdrawals Of November Premium Payments

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico has confirmed that a computer glitch has caused its billing system to withdraw multiple premium payments from customers in November.
It’s not clear if this glitch affects all customers but one customer in Los Alamos reported their monthly premium payment of $195.31 was withdrawn from their bank account four times so far this month including Nov. 11, Nov. 12, Nov. 13 and Nov. 16.
