Unquarked The Wine Room opened its doors today at 145 Central Park Square in downtown Los Alamos. The new wine room will be open 2-9 p.m. Tuesday for those wishing to purchase their Thanksgiving wines and mingle with friends and family. Regular hours are 2-9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and for special events Sundays. A community-wide grand opening event is set for noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20. Weck’s has decided to postpone opening a restaurant in Los Alamos for at least six months.
Weck’s Santa Fe owner and licensee Michael Dennis explained during an interview with the Los Alamos Daily Post that he had come very close to finalizing negotiations to open a restaurant at Smith’s Marketplace.
