SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon the partial total of 877 additional positive tests for COVID-19.
Los Alamos County remains at a total of 50 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.
Today’s update includes 10 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:
- 245 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 12 new cases in Chaves County
- 18 new cases in Cibola County
- 52 new cases in Curry County
- 1 new case in De Baca County
- 220 new cases in Doña Ana County
- 9 new cases in Eddy County
- 3 new cases

Update: DP Road Construction Activity Week Of Nov. 2
COUNTY News:
During the week of Nov. 2, no construction activities are scheduled to occur within the section of DP Road from Trinity Drive to the Fire Training Center.
Work within this section of DP Road is now expected to resume the week of Nov. 9 with trenching activities that will restrict the roadway to one-lane traffic controlled by a flagged/signaled system.
One-lane traffic restrictions will occur only during hours of construction, potentially 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Access to businesses in this area will be maintained during these activities.

In light of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham recently affirming the ban on mass gatherings for the foreseeable future, Los Alamos County Clerk Naomi Maestas announced today that her office will forego Election Night Reporting (in-person) Tuesday, Nov. 3, inside the Municipal Building.
