SCIENCEFEST News:Community Development Advisory Board Members To Canvass Neighborhoods For Resident Input
COUNTY News:
The Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) is tasked with making recommendations to the County Council about the County’s code enforcement program.
To ensure these recommendations reflect the needs and interests of the community, the board needs as much input from the public as possible.
During the next couple of months, members of CDAB will go out into the community and canvass neighborhoods to get input directly from people who live here.

County: Herbicide Spraying At Barranca Mesa Park And Guaje Pines Cemetery July 10, 11 & 12

Los Alamos Parks Division crews will be spraying herbicide for weed control Wednesday July 10, Thursday July 11 and Friday July 12.
Notices will be posted in and around the areas to be sprayed at least 24 hours prior to spraying and will remain posted until spraying has been completed.
Areas will be sprayed with Trimec Broad Leaf Herbicide.

Manhole Repairs – Ponderosa Estates in Los Alamos:
Crews continue adjusting manholes in Ponderosa Estates along Aspen Drive, Sumac Lane and Maple Drive. Work is scheduled to continue through the end of July. The concrete being used is a high strength mix and requires a cure time; therefore, residents are urged to avoid driving over these manholes for the first few days after they are poured.
