The Los Alamos County Library System presents the celebrated acoustic duo Hungrytown, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in the Pajarito Room at Fuller Lodge, 2132 Central Ave. in Los Alamos.
This is a free concert sponsored by the Los Alamos County Library System and the Friends of Los Alamos County Libraries.

LAPD Releases Details Of Officer-Involved Shooting
LAPD News:
Officers with the Los Alamos Police Department were involved in an overnight shooting that occurred around 3:45 a.m. Saturday, LAPD Cmdr. Preston announced this afternoon. No officers were injured in the incident.
The officers were investigating suspicious circumstances at a Los Alamos County facility located at the Pajarito Cliffs site, Ballew said.

Mesa Public Library Opens At 1 p.m. Feb. 23
COUNTY News:
Mesa Public Library will open at 1 p.m., rather than the normal 10 a.m. opening Friday, Feb. 23, due to fire system testing.
The closure has been postponed one week due to fire system wiring issues.
During this time, the public will not be allowed into the building due to frequent fire alarms going off. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The crew is working on final testing and programming through Tuesday, Feb. 20 with full functional testing occurring prior to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23.

The Los Alamos Police Department is investigating a series of incidents involving burglary and theft at the Los Alamos County Pajarito Cliffs Site facilities at 101 Camino Entrada, east of the airport, including the theft of a County truck between 3 and 4 a.m. Thursday.
The truck, a Ford F350 with a flat bed and a dump feature has been recovered and now secured in a shop at the Pajarito Cliffs location. Read More
