County: Sidewalk Closure Begins Monday
COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County Traffic & Streets crews will be installing a retaining wall and replacing the sidewalk on the south side of San Ildefonso between Camino Durasnilla and Camino Redondo due to erosion.
Pedestrians will be directed to use the sidewalk on the north side of San Ildefonso. The County will work to minimize the impact of the construction.

Traffic Delays Expected On East Jemez Road
COUNTY News:
Officials with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) advise motorists to plan for traffic delays next Thursday through Friday on East Jemez Road.
DPU will trench and install an electric duct bank across six lanes of traffic west of the Eco Station at 3701 E. Jemez. Two-way traffic will be maintained and DPU will phase the construction over the two-day period to minimize the amount of disruption.

Members of the Environmental Sustainability Board and staff from the Los Alamos County Eco Station will conduct a walk through of neighborhoods in White Rock Friday, Sept. 29 to survey recycle roll carts at the curb.
They are checking the carts for the volume of recycling placed in them, in order to assist them in evaluating options for route pick up and frequency of the future brush roll carts that will be added to the system and distributed next year.
