Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. / Police arrested Gerald Espinoza, 35, of Espanola at 2500 Trinity Dr., at 2500 Trinity Dr., on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.
TABATHA ANNJOYCE JONES
Sept. 21 at 1:37 p.m. /Police arrested Tabatha Annjoyce Jones, 34, of White Rock at 2500 Trinity Dr., and charged her with embezzlement of between $2,500 and $20,000.

Based on the continuing investigation of embezzlement from the Los Alamos Youth Football and Cheerleading League, Los Alamos Police Det. Ryan Wolking is seeking information from participants of the league, businesses or individuals who donated to the league, or anyone from whom the league would have received cash, checks, or some other form of payment.
Specifically, LAPD is requesting information relating to financial transactions being processed or handled by the league’s former president Tabatha Jones of White Rock.

County: Trinity Drive Lane Closures Oct. 2-6
COUNTY News:
As part of 20th Street Extension Project, construction crews will be connecting new water and gas lines to existing underground utilities on Trinity Drive at the intersection of 20th Street.
This work requires temporary lane and sidewalk closures on Trinity Drive near 20th Street, scheduled as follows, weather permitting:
- Monday, Oct. 2 through Friday, Oct. 6, eastbound right lane.

Los Alamos County Clerk Registers New Voters
Los Alamos County Clerk Office staff members take part in National Voter Registration Day Tuesday in the lobby at the Municipal Building. The event was part of a massive 50-state effort to register thousands of voters. In addition to being at the Municipal Building, clerk staff went to Starbucks and Los Alamos High School. Rio Grande Norte Chapter Of The 99s Paint Compass Rose At Los Alamos County Airport Saturday
Members of the Rio Grande Norte Chapter of the 99’s organization painted a compass rose Saturday morning on the runway of the Los Alamos County Airport. It was explained that the compass is used by pilots to calibrate in their aircrafts. This particular compass is 42 feet in diameter. The 99’s is an international organization of women aviators. County Celebrates Customer Service Week With Community Event In Municipal Building Lobby Oct. 4
COUNTY News:
In celebration of Customer Service Week, Oct. 2-6, the Los Alamos County Customer Care Center will sponsor an informational event 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4 in the Municipal Building lobby at 1000 Central Ave.
Members of the public are welcome to drop by for refreshments. Various County departments will host tables in the lobby with information on projects, programs and services during the event.
