The Autism Programs at the UNM Center for Development & Disability currently offers presentations for Native American families. The series, “Weaving Colors” will be presented the third Wednesday of each month, 1-2:30 p.m. (MT) in webinar format.
Every month, a new topic will be presented to families over the internet using zoom. This free webinar series will offer an opportunity for participants to engage and discuss the topic, as well as connect with other Native families.

Santa Fe Community College And Higher Education Center To Close Jan. 15 In Honor Of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

SANTA FE — Santa Fe Community College and the Santa Fe Higher Education Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
No classes or activities will be held, and no other student services will be available. The college’s childcare center, Kids Campus, and gym, the William C. Santa Fe Community College Announces English As A Second Language Classes

Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) will offer a 12-week English as a Second Language (ESL) session, Jan. 29 to April 25 to any adult who wants to learn English.
New students must attend an orientation session to register for classes. The orientation session will include testing and placement as well as registration for the courses.
The $25 registration fee is waived for the Spring 2024 term. The classes are free. Classes will be in person at the SFCC Main Campus, at Sweeney Elementary School, and online.
