DFA Brings Top Leadership Across State Agencies To New Mexico Municipal League Conference

SANTA FE — Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) leads the coordination effort, which will bring multiple state agencies to the New Mexico Municipal League Conference 9-10:15 a.m., Wednesday.

PED Awards $300,000 In Outdoor Learning Grants

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) has  announced a $300,000 investment in the Outdoor Learning Program, awarding grants to six schools and four school districts to help promote innovation and expand access to outdoor learning and environmental education.

The 10 grant recipients will each receive an average of $30,000 to support the development of outdoor learning programs.

Topper Soccer Team Wins 2022 Louie Cernicek Tournament!

The Los Alamos High School Topper soccer champions celebrate their win of the annual Louie Cernicek tournament played last weekend at Sullivan Field. The two-day tournament draws some of the premier soccer teams from around the state. This year seven teams competed for the Louie Cernieck Trophy. The Toppers played their way through the brackets, playing Bernalillo 10-0 win, Goddard 3-2 win and the final game for the trophy, Artesia 4-3 win. Fire Relief Center Moved To New Mexico Highlands Univ.

The Fire Relief Center once located at the old Memorial Middle School gymnasium was moved to Sala de Madrid on the New Mexico Highlands University campus at the end of July.
